Ward 1 voters on Tuesday elected Gwenevra Nabad to succeed me as city councilor. She defeated Michele Ronco 673-577.

Mayor Gina-Louise Sciarra was reelected to a second term, defeating Jillian Duclos 4,637-4,561. Sciarra received 672 votes in Ward 1 while Duclos had 630.

In other citywide contests, Margaret Robbins (4,235 votes, 610 in Ward 1) and incumbent Garrick Perry (4,206 votes, 614 in Ward 1) were elected to the two at-large City Council seats, defeating Benjamin Spencer (3,999 votes, 564 in Ward 1), and Deborah Henson (3,480 votes, 503 in Ward 1); and Tiffany Jewell (4,550 votes, 649 in Ward 1) and Roberta Saner Sullivan (4,362 votes, 667 in Ward 1) were elected to the two at-large School Committee seats, defeating Emily Serafy-Cox (4,250 votes, 624 in Ward 1).

Here are the results for other contested City Council seats Ward 2, incumbent Deborah Pastrich Klemer defeated Alan Simon 543-478; Ward 3, Laurie Loisel defeated incumbent Quaverly Rothenberg, 748-508; Ward 5, Aline Davis defeated Vincent Rotello IV, 787-592; Ward 6, Christopher Stratton defeated incumbent Marianne LaBarge, 889-722; and Ward 7, incumbent Rachel Maiore defeated Susan Timberlake, 924-319.

Incumbent Ward 4 City Councilor Jeremy Dubs was reelected without opposition.

Here are the results for other contested School Committee seats: Ward 2, incumbent Anat Weisenfreund defeated Angela Wack, 532-464; and Ward 4, incumbent Michael Stein defeated write-in candidate Megan Wolf, 571-466.

These School Committee candidates were elected without opposition: Ward 1, Alena Bartoli; Ward 3, Renika Montgomery-Tamakloe; Ward 5, Amy Martyn; Ward 6, Cynthia Mahoney; and Ward 7, Valerie Reiss.

The three trustees of Smith Vocational and Agricultural High School who were reelected without opposition are Richard Aquadro, Michael Cahillane and Julie-Spencer Robinson.

The four Forbes Library trustees elected without opposition are Rebekah Anderson, Ann Ruocco, Lolan Sevilla, and Frederick Kass.

David Murphy was elected as elector under the Oliver Smith will without opposition.
